At 24 weeks, Glory Johnson has given birth to twins. She made the announcement on social media. “Born a little earlier than expected, I have No Worries because these babies are fighters just like I am!” Glory tells Instagram. “We all know God makes NO mistakes and by his Grace, everything will work out for the greater good. We will continue to trust God as they are in his hands. Continue to keep us Lifted because there is Sooo Much Power in PRAYER!!!”
Babies Ava Simone & Solei Diem were born October 12th and each weighed 1 pound 7 ounces. IceCreamConvos.com reports Glory underwent emergency cervical cerclage surgery to close her cervix, preventing pre-term labor, earlier this month. However, nature always wins.
Johnson is still going through the process of divorcing wife, Brittney Griner after a very short lived, 28 day marriage. Most recently, a judge denied her request for $20,000 a month in temporary spousal support (plus attorney’s fees) but the Tulsa Shock baller took it all in stride. “I feel relieved and thankful now that this stressful situation is coming to an end. I was honest throughout this entire painful experience, and I have no regrets. Now, I feel like I am finally free to focus on the things in my life that really matter,” she tells People Magazine.
