Adam “Pacman” Jones was involved in a physical altercation with an airport employee at Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson International Airport on Tuesday.
According to TMZ, officials say the employee, Frank, made a gesture toward Jones shortly after Jones arrived. Officials did not describe the gesture, but said it led Jones to confront the employee. An argument followed and became physical.
Officials told TMZ that Frank struck Jones with a closed fist, causing a cut on Jones’ face, and also hit a female friend of Jones, injuring her hand. They say Jones then defended himself, which caused Frank to fall to the ground.
Officials determined the employee was the aggressor, and he was arrested on two counts of battery. TMZ reports that Jones and his friend declined medical attention, while Frank was taken to a hospital for treatment. The incident remains under investigation, and an arrest is not a finding of guilt.
