Just weeks before former UCLA basketball star Billy Knight was found dead of apparent suicide, the baller-turned-credit coach was arrested and charged for sexual encounters with a minor.
Knight was charged with six felonies for his actions: two counts of sexual conduct with a minor, two counts of sexual abuse and two counts of molestation of a child. Sources say the victim was only 9-years-old.
According to TMZ, Knight was arrested on June 13, less than four weeks before he apparently took his own life.

In court docs obtained by the publication, the abuse took place at the victim’s home, and sometimes on her mother’s bed. As a result, Knight was facing more than 50 years in prison, if convicted.

Shortly after the arrest, Knight posted his $100,000 bail, but was ordered to stay away from the victim and wear an electronic monitoring device upon release. But, the victim’s mother told officials that he had violated the terms by contacting the young girl and going to her home. He was due for a pre-trial hearing in the next few weeks.

However, Knight was found dead in Phoenix after sharing a “goodbye” video, where he hinted at his own wrongdoings.
He was 39.
