Whether she’s thick or thin, we all love us some #RihRih, but she says it’s time to get back in the gym.
While talking to British Vogue for its September issue, the singer discussed body image, and how she wants to hit the gym but hopes to keep her thickness at the same time.
“I’m about to get back into the gym and stuff, and I hope I don’t lose my butt or my hips or all of my thighs. I’ll lose some, but not all,” she said. “And I think of my boobs, like, ‘Imma lose everything, everything goes!’ But, you know, it comes with a price. You want to have a butt, then you have a gut.”
Rihanna is a body positive, fashion icon that we love no matter what she looks like. While she’s won over the hearts of men, she’s also become a girl crush for many women.
When asked how she felt about other woman being infatuated with her she said it may be because of her current “thicc-ness.” “Okay, you’re asking the wrong person,” she said. “I don’t know, maybe it’s because I’m ‘thicc’ now. I don’t know.”
The bad gal also opened up about how particular she is about the people she surrounds herself with. “I’m very picky about friends. I don’t like to open myself up to everyone and so when you find people who are great and loyal, you don’t want to let go of that,” she said. “I’ve been out here on my own since I was a teenager, so these people become like your family.”
