James Corden Says Kanye West’s Cancelled “Carpool Karaoke” Appearances Resulted In A Loss Of $45k

Some of the biggest celebrities have participated in James Corden’s hit show Carpool Karaoke, except for Kanye West – because he’s cancelled three times.

On Tuesday, Kris Jenner appeared on the late-night show where the two discussed his catchy program. Jenner then asked why he’s never thought to have West as a guest. Corden responded that he’s attempted to book him for the show on more than one occasion. “We’ve tried. He’s canceled, twice. Maybe even three times,” Corden said.

In fact, Corden pulled up to Yeezy’s house in one instance and was turned down on the spot. “He canceled once as I was turning the corner to his house. I was outside his house and they were like, ‘He’s not in the zone for it right now. We’ll do it another time.’”

Corden went on to say West’s cancellations allegedly cost his show $45,000, but the Chicago native however did send flowers and shoes to apologize for his absence.

“He sent me these incredible flowers in a cube,” he recalled. “A cube of flowers, which I’d never seen before, and he sent me a pair of Yeezys. People were like, ‘Woah, they’re so expensive,’ and I was like, ‘Yeah! They cost my show $45,000!’”
