It’s been about a month since LeBron James took his talents to Hollywood and signed with the legendary Los Angeles Lakers organization. However, despite the baller’s longstanding loyalty to his home state, some fans are still displeased by his decision.
In fact, a local newspaper writer used his platform to poke fun at the Cleveland legend, upon the baller’s recently announced return to the Quicken Loans Arena in a Lakers uniform. Although the writer focused on the King for the digital version, the print version told a different story.
“Lonzo Ball and Lakers at The Q on Nov. 21,” the headline read, with the subheadline that said, “Former Cav James also expected to play.”
James’ return in purple and gold will be his second homecoming, with the first following his infamous “Decision” to take his talents to South Beach. However, this time, according to Bleacher Report, the reception is expected to be a bit warmer.
