“Stormi, What’s Good!”: Nicki Minaj to Sit Within Inches of Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner At VMAs After Twitter Rant Over No. 2 Album

Over the weekend, Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to set the record straight about her newly-released fourth studio album, “Queen,” which landed No. 2 behind Travis Scott’s “Astroworld.”

However, despite the official statistics, Minaj revealed on Sunday that based on certain circumstances, Scott’s numbers didn’t count – basically.

“I spoke to [Travis]. He knows he doesn’t have the #1 album this week,” Minaj wrote on Twitter. “I put my blood sweat & tears in writing a dope album for Travis Scott to have Kylie Jenner post a tour pass telling ppl to come see her & Stormi. lol. I’m actually laughing. Queen broke the record of being number 1 in 86 countries. Thank Jesus & thank you to my fans.”

After widespread backlash and criticisms Minaj tried to backpedal, claiming her tweets were all in fun. However, a few moments later she took to Instagram Live to once again thank fans for the No. 1 album in the country.

Now, in the wake of what many perceive to be a social media meltdown, the Queens-bred Barbie will have to face the targets of Sunday’s Twitter attack, roughly 24 hours later.

According to TMZ, both Scott and Jenner will be seated within inches of the “Ganja Burn” rapper at the 2018 VMAs. The seating chart for Monday night’s show at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, shows the couple to be seated directly behind Minaj for the show.
