A private aircraft carrying popstar Post Malone is set to attempt an emergency landing after reportedly blowing two tires during its takeoff.
According to TMZ, Malone and his team left from New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport Tuesday in pursuit of London.
In audio footage obtained by TMZ, the pilot can be heard making it clear that the plane lost at least one tire. There is also a note made that there are 16 people on board.
The pilot asked for permission to circle back but was instructed to fly further in an effort to burn more fuel for a safe attempt at landing. TMZ reports that the plane took off with 3,700 gallons of fuel to burn.
Malone was in New York Monday evening to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards.
