Back in July, “Grey’s Anatomy” star Jesse Williams requested a new trial in his child support case with his ex-wife, Aryn Drake-Lee, in an attempt to alter the $50,000 per month payment he was ordered to cough up, the month before.
Though the monthly amount was based on his monthly half-a-million dollar check, according to the Blast, Williams claimed there wasn’t enough evidence to prove the amount was necessary.
However, a judge in the former couple’s divorce case, ruled against the Hollywood star, denying his motion for a new trial. But now, in a renewed attempt to decrease his payments, Williams has filed an appeal over the judge’s initial $50,000 decision.
According to the publication, Williams filed his appeal on Monday, just days after the judge denied his motion for a new trial.
