Texas Parole Supervisor Loses Job After Saying She Didn’t Care About Austin Metcalf Family’s Loss

A Texas parole supervisor’s Facebook post about the Karmelo Anthony case and Austin Metcalf killing turned a courtroom tragedy into a workplace reckoning.

Donna Murray Robinson was fired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice after posting inflammatory remarks about Austin Metcalf or his grieving family and Anthony’s prison future, according to local reporting citing TDCJ. The department confirmed Robinson’s termination after reviewing her public statements, saying employees in the criminal justice system carry “significant public trust” and must make decisions free from personal bias.

Anthony, now 19, was convicted of murder and sentenced to 35 years in prison for fatally stabbing 17-year-old Metcalf during a Frisco, Texas, high school track meet in April 2025. CBS Texas reported that a Collin County jury handed down the sentence after deliberating for about two-and-a-half hours.

Robinson’s comments landed hard because she identified herself online as a parole supervisor with TDCJ. In the now-deleted post, she wrote, “I for one don’t give a fk about the family’s loss.”

Then she went further: “It’s about time these f**kng [sic] bigots feel the pain that they have inflicted on other groups of people since the beginning of time!”

Robinson also wrote, “I’m just glad we didn’t have to bury another black child. Let them start burying some of theirs for a change. F**K’em [sic] I said what I said.”

The department’s response was blunt.

“These statements are incompatible with TDCJ policy and values. They demonstrate bias and a lack of the impartiality essential to the fair administration of justice in Texas,” TDCJ said, according to KRLD. “Discriminatory or inflammatory conduct that erodes public confidence in the criminal justice system will not be tolerated.”

That is the sharper angle here: the Anthony case was already a national flashpoint, but Robinson’s firing shows how fast public commentary can collide with the responsibilities of a justice-system job.

At trial, witnesses said Anthony was under Memorial High School’s tent during a rainy meet when Metcalf and others asked him to leave. ABC News reported that one witness said Anthony was asked to leave around 15 times, while others recalled him saying, “Touch me and see what happens.” Metcalf was later stabbed with a pocket knife and pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital.

Anthony argued self-defense, but jurors rejected that claim. His legal team has since filed a notice of appeal, according to CBS Texas.

Gee, does the black B feel that way about all the kid’s families killed in Chicago by blacks. I guess that’s OK because it is black on black. The blacks are really failing to see that all this BS they keep harping about is not doing themselves any favor.
