Los Angeles police have asked the public for assistance as the investigation involving influencer and rapper Clintnlord continues to widen.
ABC 7 confirmed that Clintnlord, whose legal name is Clinton Adams, was taken into custody on November 19 on suspicion of rape. The 32-year-old was later officially charged with three counts of rape and one count of assault with intent to commit a felony offense. Police say the allegations stem from two separate encounters in which Adams met each woman individually before inviting them to a location in Los Angeles.
Details from the Los Angeles Times revealed that the property where the alleged assaults occurred was a house damaged by the Palisades fires. Investigators say Adams told each woman that he owned the home, although he did not have permission to be inside. According to police, he was unhoused at the time of his arrest and allegedly gained access to the mansion without authorization.
Adams is widely known online as Clintnlord, with 376,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 155,000 on TikTok. Officers state that his social media presence played a role in how he connected with the women and arranged the meetings that led to the reported assaults. Both women who initially reported the assaults identified Adams as the person who harmed them, prompting detectives to move quickly on the case.
Detectives continue gathering evidence as they piece together a timeline and determine whether any additional victims may be linked to the case.
