Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather are preparing to face off in the match of a lifetime.
TMZ has confirmed that the two boxing legends have officially signed on for an exhibition match slated for the spring of 2026. While the exact date and location remain undisclosed, this is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about events in boxing history.
Tyson, who last entered the ring professionally in 2024 for a massive pay-per-view bout with Jake Paul, admitted even he’s surprised this is happening.
“This fight is something neither the world nor I ever thought would or could happen,” Tyson said to the outlet. “However, boxing has entered a new era of the unpredictable – and this fight is as unpredictable as it gets.”
Mayweather, who retired with a perfect 50-0 record, has been staying active through high-profile exhibition fights. He says he is looking forward to the iconic day.
“I’ve been doing this for 30 years, and there hasn’t been a single fighter that can tarnish my legacy,” Mayweather said. “If I’m stepping in the ring, it’s going to be big and legendary.”
