Travis Kelce Calls Out The NFL For ‘Overdoing It A Bit’ With Focus On Him and Taylor Swift

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce recently criticized the NFL for emphasizing his relationship with Taylor Swift too much.

During a podcast with his brother, Eagles center Jason Kelce, he mentioned Swift’s presence at a recent Chiefs game.

“Let’s get to it. Is the NFL overdoing it?” Jason Kelce asked his brother. “What’s your honest opinion?  Take away your feelings for Taylor…”

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end admitted, “I think it’s fun when they show who was at the game.  I think it brings a little bit more to the atmosphere and brings a little bit more to what you’re watching.  But at the same time, I think-“

“They’re overdoing it,” Jason finished. “They’re overdoing it a little bit for sure, especially in my situation.  [But] I think they’re just trying to have fun with it,” said Travis.

Swift’s appearances at Chiefs games have boosted merchandise sales and ticket sales.  StubHub saw a 175% increase in ticket sales for the Chiefs-Jets game after her appearance, and nearly 20% of tickets for the October 1 game were sold on the night of her appearance.

Recently, the NFL heavily promoted Taylor Swift’s appearances at the games on social media, including changing its banner image on its social media account to feature her.  However, it has since changed the promotion to focus on an upcoming game.

“I just think the NFL’s not used to celebrities coming to the games.  It’s like basketball has it figured out. They’re all courtside, they’re sitting there, they show them once or twice, and then they get back to the game,” Jason Kelce said. “The NFL is like, ‘look at all these A-list celebrities at the game!'”

In the past, The NFL faced criticism for its coverage of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, particularly when it changed its Instagram bio to “Chiefs are 2-0 as swifties.”

Jason Kelce indicated in the podcast that the NFL won’t likely cut back on its Taylor Swift coverage.  The Jets vs. Chiefs game drew 2 million female viewers and had a total viewership of 27 million, possibly boosted by the presence of Taylor Swift and Deadpool stars.

“He’s focusing on football like he always has,” said a source on Travis spending time with Swift.  “During the NFL season, his priority is the Chiefs, and it’s all about the team.”

Evictions & Disconnected Wifi; RaeShanda Lockhart Divorcing Wife Pastor Lashondra Lockhart Over Finances [Video]

Adored TikTok couple RaeShanda Lias-Lockhart and wife Pastor Lashondra Lockhart are in the midst of a nasty divorce that is playing out online.

The viral couple have been married since 2017. However, Rae is now spilling all the tea on TikTok after she recently filed for divorce. While she initially tried to play coy about the reasoning behind the split, it didn’t take long for the entrepreneur to reveal the truth. Among her issues with Lashondra, Rae says her wife squandered much of their funds and began going behind Rae’s back, borrowing money from friends despite them living a comfortable lifestyle on social media. Lashondra even allegedly defaulted on a loan that Rae took out for her.

According to the boutique owner, she noticed small bills, such as the wifi and cable, going unpaid from time to time. However, she said Lashondra would handle them immediately after seeing they’d been shut off. This is partially why she didn’t catch the signs that her wife was not managing their household properly. Things took a turn when the couple were evicted from their Kentucky home after Lashondra failed to pay the rent. When Rae confronted her wife about the eviction, LaShondra allegedly told her it was a mistake. Rae learned the truth after speaking with the leasing agent, only to learn they were quite behind. Even after Rae sent LaShondra the funds to catch them up and prevent eviction, her wife wrote a check that ultimately bounced, which moved the process forward. After they were told to get out, Rae was hit with another blow after she learned the sewer and water bill was over 90 days past due.

As for why she was not taking care of the bills and sending the couple into debt, LaShondra has remained mum. Instead, she has shared nothing but biblical messages on her TikTok as Rae slams her online for her many indiscretions. Others have also called her out for taking payments from tenants of the complex she managed via CashApp, which likely went directly to her bank account.

Houston Mother Who Was The Target Of A Murder Plot Now Missing After Friend’s Murder

A young mother has disappeared months after witnessing her acquaintance be murdered in a plot that she was the target of.

Deundrea L. Ford mysteriously vanished on September 21st after getting into a van outside of her job, Diva’s Bikini Sports Bar & Grill. Ford was reportedly seen entering the vehicle with an unknown male around 1:00 a.m. An hour later, around 2:00 a.m., the 21-year-old phoned a friend, but that individual missed her call. The following day, her loved ones discovered her phone had been turned off. She has not been seen or heard from since. What makes the mystery even more troubling is that Ford was the target of a May robbery gone wrong, and the conspirators seemed determined to harm her.

On May 18th, Ford was in the front passenger of a car being driven by associate Otis Parker. He had recently driven Ford and her friend Quitiana Taylor to Lousiana to dance and escort. However, Taylor hatched a plan with Jamal Brown, Mariah Green, and Jarrell Wheeler to rob Ford of the $1,500 they’d made during their work trip. Brown shot at the car being driven by Parker, killing him and narrowly missing Ford. Since then, Brown has been killed in a shootout with police. The remaining defendants have since been arrested, but authorities have uncovered several text messages outlining their plans to harm Ford, stating that she was no longer safe in Houston. Ford was granted a restraining order against her conspirators, and it’s unclear if they could set her up from behind bars.

Police have not identified the man Ford got into the van with outside her job. However, surveillance video from Diva’s does confirm that he sat in the parking lot for at least an hour before leaving. Now, her family is pleading for answers.

“I just hope she’s alive,” her grandmother, Bridgette Carriere, told ABC 13.

Gunplay’s Estranged Wife, Vonshae Taylor-Morales, Slams Him For Causing Their Daughter’s Heart Defect [Video]

In addition to the alleged physical abuse she endured, Gunplay’s wife, Vonshae Taylor-Morales, now says his cocaine abuse caused their daughter’s heart defect.

The influencer went live to address their daughter’s ongoing health issues. Months ago, the couple launched a GoFundMe to help pay for a lifesaving procedure for their child, which has caused controversy. Nevertheless, Vonshae says much of the health issues could have been avoided had Gunplay refrained from using narcotics.

“The reason for my daughter’s heart defect is because of his drug abuse history. He was the cause of her defect. Ya’ll can Google this,” she explained during an Instagram Live session while getting her makeup done.

She explained that Gunplay continued using cocaine and Ketamine, which he allegedly overdosed on twice. Vonshae says she was unaware that her husband was back on drugs. Instead, he would tell her that he was having allergy issues. This is the latest revelation in their ugly separation.

Back in August, Vonshae accused the MMG affiliate of pointing a gun at her as she held their infant. The terrifying moment took place when she asked him to turn down the television while he played video games. She also shared a video of him destroying a television in their home while in a fit of rage. Gunplay also allegedly broke a porcelain sink in their home after Vonshae decided to leave him. She has since been granted a restraining order as their divorce pushes forward, though Vonshae has accused him of refusing to sign the papers.

Angela White aka Blac Chyna Defends Selling Personal Items to Get By [Video]

Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, is not ashamed about scaling down her lifestyle by selling her personal items.

The Instagram model spoke with ET’s Nischelle Turner amid reports that she is rationing off her belongings to make ends meet. The influencer quit OnlyFans after reportedly making millions on the platform. Even with rumored money woes, she says she’ll never return to the site and would much rather sell items she no longer uses.

“I feel like a lot of things hold energy, right? And we had discussed this before. I just kind of wanted a fresh start. And I don’t think nothing’s wrong with selling your old stuff. I feel like, at this point in my life, I don’t really value materialistic things. Yeah, it looks nice, but it’s like, why go out and grind and hustle for this money to go and spend it on something that could potentially just disappear?”

White also touched on her custody battle with rapper Tyga, the father of her 10-year-old son, King. She recently filed court documents asking a judge to force Tyga to pay her lawyer fees. She is also seeking additional rights to their son, including more visitation and details regarding his education and healthcare. Tyga has previously slammed Chyna, claiming he pays for their son’s tuition and insurance. Per her court filing, White and Tyga’s initial agreement was for him to keep King on the weekends. However, after she had her daughter Dream from Rob Kardashian in 2016, she and Tyga agreed on a temporary change to the schedule, placing King in White’s care Friday through Monday. Tyga then allegedly changed their son’s school without informing her. Now, she is seeking 50/50 legal custody, giving her the right to child support.

“I’m not gonna give up at all. Moms don’t give up on their kids,” she stated.

YNW Melly & YNW Bortlen Hit With New Charges For Offering A BMW To Witness

The YNW Melly drama seems to be never-ending, with new charges filed against him and co-defendant YNW Bortlen.

On Monday night, Bortlen, whose real name is Cortlen Malik Henry, was arrested during a raid at his Miami home for an out-of-county warrant. Both he and Melly have now been charged with witness tampering. According to XXL, Bortlen has been out on bond since August 2021 for his alleged role in the 2018 slayings of YNW Juvy, aka Christopher Thomas Jr., and YNW Sakchaser, aka Anthony Williams. Melly was initially charged with their murders, while Bortlen was accused of helping the “Murder On My Mind” rapper cover up the killings to make them look like a drive-by shooting.

In July, Melly’s trial ended in a hung jury. However, the prosecution is preparing to try him again next month. Per the new arrest warrant, he and Bortlen engaged in “misleading conduct toward another person with the intent to cause or induce (that person) to withhold testimony.” The victims are allegedly Melly’s ex-girlfriend and her mother, who reported that Bortlen told the young woman, “If she was more loyal, she would be driving a pink BMW,” alluding that she would be given the new car if she didn’t cooperate with the prosecution. Bortlen had previously been banned from contacting witnesses as part of his bond conditions.

Bortlen is being held in the Miami-Dade County Jail. Melly remains in Broward County jail, where he has been since 2019. His defense attorneys say this latest charge is a “distraction” as the case heads to retrial.

Suge Knight Appeals for Early Prison Release, Alleging Rights Violation

During an interview with Chuck Creekmur of AllHipHop, Suge Knight said he is looking to be released from prison after claiming his rights were violated during his 2015 hit-and-run case.

Knight argued that inaccuracies regarding his three-strikes record and a judge’s refusal to let him represent himself following the dismissal of his attorneys should result in his release from prison.

“So an unfixable error, the only thing you got to do is you got to make a deal and let me go home or show I was right, or you let me take my plea back and start all over,” he told AllHipHop.  “But it’d be harder to start all over because you did all this b*tch sh*t with my case.”

He then claimed he was coerced into a plea deal and believed his 28-year prison sentence was unfair.

“This [is] my bed,” he told AllHipHop.  “If they allowed me to go to trial, I would have won my case.  I would have beat my case.  But they didn’t.  OK, I understand that, right?  My crime carries two, six, 11 [years] if I was guilty.  They gave me–naturally, they going to give me the high term, right?  So my past, who I am, definitely is going to make sure I get some time.  And I’m fine with that.  But you don’t have the right to double me up.”

He continued, “You don’t have the right to give me time and a half.  You don’t have the right to not let me have a lawyer.  So, I wasn’t pushing the envelope as hard at first because I know I got to do some time.  But I’ve been gone for nine years, so I did my time already.”

The former Death Row Records founder is serving his sentence at the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego.

11-Year-Old Shoots Two 13-Year-Old Boys During Football Practice in Florida [Video]

Parents and authorities are reeling after an 11-year-old boy committed a shocking act of violence against two 13-year-olds at a Little League football practice in Florida.

Monday night, police in Apopka, about 20 miles from Orlando, received calls about a shooting at the Northwest Recreation Complex. The request for emergency services initially came in at 8:18 p.m., according to NBC News. Apopka Police officers arrived moments later at 8:24 p.m., only to find the two teenagers wounded. One had been hit with a bullet in the arm, while the other was shot in the torso.

Witnesses say one of the older boys slapped food out of the shooter’s hand, which led to a scuffle during practice with the youth sports group Pop Warner. Shortly after, the 11-year-old retrieved a handgun from a lockbox in his mother’s car and fired into a crowd, WESH confirmed. Many bystanders scattered when the gunfire rang out.

“We all thank God nobody was hurt more seriously than what they were. This could have been a very tragic incident,” Apopka Police Chief Mike McKinley said after the incident.

Pop Warner officials are conducting their own investigation into what transpired. They are looking to see how they can better protect their players and attendees. Meanwhile, the 11-year-old is facing charges of attempted second-degree murder. His mother, who has not yet been identified, could likely face charges for leaving the box where the gun was housed unlocked.

EEOC Sues Florida Asphalt Paving Company For Racial Harassment, Claims Black Employees Were Forced To Use the Bathroom Outside While White Employees Used Bathrooms Indoors

Last month, The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) initiated a lawsuit against Asphalt Paving Services after it was reported that the company created a hostile environment for Black employees in Zephyrhills, Florida.

The EEOC claims that Asphalt Paving Systems violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the 1991 amendment by subjecting 12 former Black employees to workplace racial harassment.

The lawsuit states that co-workers and management used racial slurs, such as the “N-word” and “boy,” against Black employees.  It further says that Black workers faced harsh working conditions, like working in heavy rain, while white employees didn’t. Black employees were forced to use outdoor restrooms, while white employees had access to indoor facilities.

“Throughout the course of Charging Parties’ employment with APS, they were subjected to racial epithets and racially-charged verbal abuse from white supervisors and co-workers, threatening conduct by white supervisors and co-workers, and being forced to work in demeaning and humiliating working conditions” the complaint says.

According to the EEOC, a white foreman named Anthony Buchholz was among the supervisors who frequently employed racial slurs when addressing Black employees.

“Buchholz would use the N-word frequently in front of Curney,” reads the lawsuit. “Curney objected to Buchholz’s use of the N-word directly, but Buchholz continued to use it.  After Curney’s objections, Buchholz then came to a job site with a friend and yelled ‘I ain’t gonna ever run from a Black N—r’ at Curney.”

The lawsuit also noted that a foreman named Douglas Henry often used derogatory language like “boy” to refer to Black employees and alleged that the company interfered with their job prospects by dissuading potential employers from hiring them.  Asphalt Paving Systems employees also used offensive terms like “Black boy,” “monkey,” and other derogatory language against Black workers.

Supervisor Dennis Williams compared the Black paving crew to monkeys, while employee Mike Whitson used offensive language, including calling them “sissies,” “f—ggots,” and “dumb N—r.”

The company’s mechanic, identified as “Jackie” in the lawsuit, made inappropriate comments to Black employees about skin color and implied he was “Black from the waist down.”

By March 2022, all the Black employees had either left APS or were terminated.

“The allegations in this case are deeply disturbing and illustrate the unfortunate reality that, 60 years after Title VII was enacted, toxic racial discrimination still plagues many workplaces in Florida,” said EEOC Regional Attorney Robert E. Weisberg   “The EEOC will continue to vigorously fight for the rights of Black employees and applicants to be free from workplace discrimination.”

The lawsuit demands that Asphalt Paving Systems establish fair employment policies that ensure equal employment opportunities for Black employees and provide compensation to the plaintiffs, with the exact amount to be determined at trial.

Savannah Chrisley Says Todd Chrisley Is Teaching Finance Classes In Prison

Well, I’ll be. Despite what he went to jail for, Todd Chrisley is now teaching a financial class while serving his prison sentence.

According to his daughter, Savannah Chrisley, Todd has taught some classes.

“Dad’s definitely taught some classes,” she said during an episode of her podcast Unlocked.

“Trauma is one of them. I think another one was a financial class — which, how ironic?” she added, referencing the fact that her parents are both in prison after being found guilty of wire fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud, and conspiracy to defraud the United States, Page Six reported.

As for her mom, Julie Chrisley, she’s teaching real estate courses.

“She’s got all these certificates from teaching and completing classes and all these things,” the 26-year-old continued, adding that her mom has “always been” an “overachiever.”

Their daughter said that teaching courses can help Todd and Julie reduce their original combined 19-year prison sentence due to the First Step Act.

“That’s what Mom and Dad’s reductions were. Were good time credits. FSA credits,” the former beauty queen furthered. “They get 15 days off for every 30 they spend [teaching]. Something of that nature.”

So far, the husband and wife have had a year cut off their sentences.

Suspect Still At Large After 5 People Were Shot At Morgan State University

Five people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a shooting near Baltimore’s Morgan State University.

After several hours, the Police no longer considered the incident an active shooter situation by Tuesday evening.

However, Police say they have not identified any suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.

As of Wednesday, there was no description of the suspect available.

The active shooter situation was first reported around 10 p.m. ET.

“BPD is on scene of an active shooter situation in the 1700 block of Argonne Drive,” the Baltimore Police Department posted on X.  “We’re asking everyone to shelter in place and avoid the area.”

Shortly afterward, the Police provided an update, stating, “BPD is confirming there are multiple victims involved.  Please continue to shelter in place and avoid the area.”

University officials eventually lifted the shelter-in-place order and resumed shuttle services around 12:30 a.m.  SWAT officers conducted thorough searches of all building floors, performing two sweeps, before deciding to end the shelter-in-place order.

Police urged the campus community to steer clear of the area around Thurgood Marshall Hall and the Murphy Fine Arts Center.  The local Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives office is aiding in the search for shell casings and other evidence.

Classes will be canceled Wednesday, and counselors will be available to students.

According to the school’s President, David Wilson, “We will be assessing what will happen for the rest of the homecoming week as early as tomorrow morning.”

Police are still advising parents and community members to stay away from the campus and directing parents to gather at the Safeway grocery store parking lot at 4401 Harford Road, where Baltimore Police Department officers are available.

The university was celebrating its annual Homecoming festivities, according to The Times.

NY Student Sentenced to 1 Year in Dubai Prison Over Airport Incident Reportedly Released

A 21-year-old American college student, who was sentenced to one year in a Dubai prison over an airport altercation, has been released, a legal assistance group said.

Elizabeth Polanco De Los Santos was transiting through Dubai International Airport from Istanbul to New York with a friend in July when she faced “degrading, painful, and humiliating searches” and was “denied boarding,” Detained in Dubai, an organization that provides legal assistance to foreigners in the United Arab Emirates, said in a press release.

Elizabeth and her friend opted to have a layover in the Emirate instead of Paris.

“Elizabeth only intended to transit through Dubai for six hours, but she’s been there for months on end and has lost $50,000 in expenses and lawyer’s costs,” Detained CEO Radha Stirling said in a previous statement. “She’s now been told she has a one-year prison sentence but that if all ‘goes well, she will only be detained until she can book a flight out of the UAE.”

Now, one day after the student was ordered to be jailed, her sentence has been commuted, the organization said.

“The news that her sentence would be commuted was a welcome end to Elizabeth’s hellish 5 months in Dubai that left her humiliated, traumatized and out of pocket $50,000,” Stirling said in a press release on Tuesday, adding that the student boarded a plane to New York Tuesday night.

Authorities told Elizabeth to remove the doctor-mandated waist-training brace she wore while going through airport security. She hesitantly agreed and was led to a booth where women security officers took the trainer off in a “rough” manner, according to the press release.

“I felt really violated,” the student said, adding that she was “uncomfortable and afraid.”

Polanco De Los Santos tried putting her trainer back on, which usually requires two people, and asked for help. The security officers blocked her exit, and that’s when they say she nudged one of them while calling her friend for help.

“I gently touched her arm to guide her out of the way, then desperately started crying to my friend for help,” the 21-year-old said.

After the search came back clear, officials told her she would be detained for “touching the female customs officer.” She was kept for several hours as the officers filed a complaint, accusing Polanco De Los Santos of “assaulting and insulting” them.

“She has been left with the scars of an incomprehensibly traumatic experience for a young student, she has lost $50,000 that she will never be compensated for. Furthermore, she’s been convicted on the basis of mere allegations, sentenced to a year’s prison, fined and deported,” Stirling said. “That in itself is a disgrace.”

According to the Insider, the reason for Polanco De Los Santos’ release remains unclear but Stirling believes it was the result of backlash from the media and US Embassy.

“In high-profile cases like this, they just want to quickly close the case as soon as possible,” she said.

Motorcyclist Arrested After Smashing Car’s Back Windshield in Viral Incident

Philadelphia police have announced the arrest of a man who smashed a car’s rear windshield while two children were riding in the back seat.

Photos released by police on Monday showed the suspect’s face, and by Tuesday night, the man was in custody. However, ABC News reports that the suspect’s name has not yet been released.

“SIG & Major Crimes Detectives have made an arrest overnight in the assault/vandalism that occurred on Sunday in center city, involving the male on the motorcycle,” Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore announced in a Wednesday morning tweet. “Great tips from public and some outstanding detective work. More will follow.”

Philadelphia authorities say the motorcyclist was with a group of ATV and dirt bike riders in the area of City Hall around 9:40 p.m. Sunday.

During the incident, the biker sideswiped a car, climbed on top of it, and broke the rear window with his feet.

When confronted by Nikki Bullock, the woman driving the car, the motorcyclist picked up a black handgun that had fallen from his waistband and pointed it at her.

Bullock was with her girlfriend, their 5-year-old daughter, and their 2-year-old son, delivering for Uber Eats at the time of the incident. Then she was sideswiped.

“So I started arguing out the window. They start arguing back and forth. The other guy got my attention, and in the meantime, he jumped off the bike and jumped on the car,” Bullock recalled.

Video of the incident showed Bullock getting out of the car and approaching the biker.

“I already seen the gun. He was trying to point it in the car anyway,” Bullock said. “He jumped on the windshield. He already went through the windshield. I might as well get out.”

Bullock and the biker got into an argument before he took off and left the area with the group of other riders. She and her girlfriend grabbed their children from the backseat and walked away.

Bullock said she filed a police report on Sunday night and spoke with a detective on Monday morning.

She said she was grateful neither child was hurt.

“They are ok. Not a single scratch,” Bullock said. “I have a guardian angel. Thank God.”

Tamar Braxton Says She’s “Hurt” & “Surprised” By Split From Jeremy “JR” Robinson [Video]

Tamar Braxton is not letting her sudden break up with attorney Jeremy “JR” Robinson keep her down.

The “Love & War” singer is preparing for the album’s tenth-anniversary tour and refuses to be distracted by the separation from Robinson. The two met on season one of the Peacock dating show, “Queens Court.” The couple had been engaged for seven months before calling it off, which Robinson confirmed in a lengthy Instagram post on Sunday. While Braxton refused to explain what led up to the breakup, she released a video addressing the relationship ending.

“I’ve been doing a lot to work on my mental health and change who I used to be into who I am now,” Braxton stated. “And I can’t help if people fall into that perception because it’s easy, and I get it. But I won’t let anybody hold me captive to my past and things I’ve overcome. Today, I am mentally healthy, and I’m happy,” she said in front of her camera screen.

Robinson claimed he “ended the relationship to focus on getting back to positive energy and being a better person.” He also chose to keep the juicy details to himself. However, in Braxton’s video, she shared that she was “hurt” and “surprised” by the turn of events.

“I just want everybody to know that the devil is a dirty liar,” the former “Braxton Family Values” stated.

Robinson’s announcement has been scrapped from Instagram, and Braxton’s video addressing the matter has also been taken down, so it’s clear neither is interested in addressing it further.
