The legacy of Pop Smoke is getting a hometown extension, and this time it comes with coffee, community, and purpose.
Pop Smoke’s family is opening Pop’s Place in Canarsie, the Brooklyn neighborhood that shaped his sound and story. His brother, Obasi Jackson, confirmed the move while also calling for baristas to join the team ahead of the launch. So the vision is already in motion, and it’s rooted right where it all started.
“Pop’s Place is opening soon in Canarsie. We’re looking for experienced baristas ready to be part of something special,” he shared on Instagram.

While details about the shop remain limited, the family quickly followed up with news of a March 31 pop-up event. The event will act as a soft launch, giving the community its first look and feel of Pop’s Place.
Pop Smoke was killed in 2020 during a home invasion in Los Angeles. He was 20 years old. However, his impact continues to live on through music, culture, and now a space built for the people who knew him first.
