Last week, a 10-year-old boy from Stillwater, Minnesota, got into some trouble when he stole the family minivan to load up on Cheerios after his parents decided to take a nap.
According to the local ABC channel, police attempted to arrest the boy driving the Chrysler minivan after discovering the driver was a young boy. The boy accelerated to over 50 mph after the police turned on their emergency lights and “blew through a stop sign.”
The cops “tracked” the vehicle and finally located the van after it reversed through an intersection and up an embankment into a neighbor’s front yard, where the boy was detained.
Reports say that the boy “told the officer his father wanted him to have cereal before going to school in the morning, so he sent the boy to the store to buy Cheerios.” Because it was rare, the officer asked the boy if his father was intoxicated, and the boy confirmed.
When arriving at the boy’s house, police discovered tired yet sober parents, and that’s when the boy confessed.
The parents reported some minor damages but no reports of any injuries.
If this was your child, what type of punishment would he receive?
