According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox will be airing a TMZ special on the hit Netflix docuseries, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness, exploring unanswered questions.
The special, TMZ Investigates: Tiger King — What Really Went Down?, will be an hour-long, and will feature “never before seen footage” and interviews connected to the case of Joe Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage.
With appearances by TMZ’s Harvey Levin, the special will also look to answer unanswered questions, including whether or not Joe is guilty of the murder-for-hire plot that he was convicted of, the disappearance of the former husband of animal activist Carole Baskin, and the re-opened investigation of the disappearance.⠀
Tiger King on Netflix reportedly brought in an outstanding average of 19 million U.S. viewers over the first 10 days of its release. It was a word-of-mouth hit that averaged 34 million views from those in the U.S. that watched for at least a few minutes during that time.
TMZ’s ‘Tiger King — What Really Went Down?’ airs on Monday, April 13, at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
