Fourteen people were shot in Atlanta early Sunday after gunfire broke out during a fireworks display while a large crowd was gathered.
An argument broke out after a car hit a pedestrian and escalated until shots were fired by multiple people that were involved in the fight, CBS46 reports.
Fourteen people in total were shot and all taken to area hospitals in private vehicles. According to the  Atlanta Police Department, two people are listed in critical condition, and 12 are listed in stable condition.
4th of July was busy for the APD. They are reporting at least 23 people were shot in five separate incidents, according to WSB-TV2. One of the incidents turned deadly, an 8-year-old girl was fatally shot after someone opened fire into a car the child was in.
