2 Chainz Reacts to Kendrick Lamar’s “He Lied” Bar in ‘Not Like Us’ [Video]

2 Chainz is not losing any sleep over Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us lyric that mentions him.

During his stop at The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne asked him straight up: “Why did you lie to Drake about being good? Kendrick said, ‘2 Chainz said you good, but he lied.’ Why did he do that?”

In classic 2 Chainz fashion, he said: “I just think it was kinda like some wordplay because Drake and I got a song called ‘No Lie.’ So when he said, ‘he lied,’ I just felt like… idk, I didn’t take it no kind of way. I don’t think he was taking a shot at me.”

He also pointed out that he and Drake have multiple plaques together, just like most of the names in the verse.

“That was just Kendrick’s way of dialing in on some subject matter type stuff.”

2 Chainz then said even he first heard “Not Like Us,” he was “okay with it.” He added, “it was just a moment. It didn’t do anything to me.”

The Atlanta rapper made it very clear that he’s not losing any sleep over it. If anything, he’s too locked in to even notice half the drama, “I really be clueless to a lot of stuff.”
