Memphis woman is behind bars after shooting into a woman’s home with children inside.
On May 2nd, 23-year-old Johari Jenkins reportedly fired shots into a woman’s home. The Memphis Police Department was called after the woman said her three children were inside the house.
The children later identified Jenkins as the shooter in a six-person photo lineup. The children state that Jenkins fired one shot into the floor and said, “I hope I hit one of them little b*tches.”
Jenkins then walked into the second-floor hallway and fired four to five times into the living room window. A witness said she was at a nearby apartment when she heard several shots.
According to the witness, she heard Jenkins say, “since I already got a charge on me. I might as well get another one today by killing you and your kids, b*tch.”
Jenkins was charged with multiple counts of criminal attempt, first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and more.
