A 1986 Michael Jordan Fleer Rookie Card is leading the auction in Christie’s Six Rings Legacy of the GOAT auction.
Six Rings – Legacy of the GOAT is a new Christie’s auction that is completely dedicated to Michael Jordan, Hypebeast reports. The leading item in the auction is a 1986 Upper Deck Fleer #57 Rookie Basketball card that Jordan autographed. It stands to potentially sell for an estimated $2 to $3 million.
According to Hypebeast, Christie’s got the card back in 2006 when individuals who pulled a Fleer 20th anniversary card were then able to send the card in for a signed rookie from the legendary baller. There are 23 cards and only 14 are reportedly faded.
Up for sale are also five pairs of shoes that Jordan wore during pivotal points in his career. Some of the sneaks include a pair of Low XIIIs Jordan wore in his last season with the Chicago Bulls. That pair could sell for up to $750,000. People can try their luck at getting the items on June 1.
