49ers fullback Bruce Miller was arrested on suspicion of spousal battery in Santa Clara Thursday night. Santa Clara police have not commented in detail on what led to the arrestÂ
Miller is currently out of police custody but if convicted can face up to a $2,000 fine and up to a year in county jail. That doesn’t include the strict domestic violence policy the NFL implemented last year.Â
The Niners responded in a statement released Monday. “The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the matter involving Bruce Miller,” the statement read. “We were disappointed to learn of these reports and will do our due diligence in collecting all relevant information.”
I’m interested in seeing what he did and why it’s “suspicion” and not proven. I suppose time will tell.
