Throughout the years, we have witnessed Uncle Snoop become best friends with Martha Stewart, join WWE’s Wrestlemania in a match, launch various businesses, and now, for his latest quest, Snoop has made himself the official hype man for the Olympics.
Since the 2024 Paris Olympic Games kicked off, Snoop has been assisting with primetime coverage for NBC. From carrying the Olympic torch to warming up with athletes, Snoop has proved to be Team USA’s number one fan. With many videos of Snoop enjoying his time overseas and making their way to social media, users have been vocal about the California native being the highlight of the games and have praised Snoop for bringing excitement to the competitors. Prior to the opening ceremony, Snoop got a chance to carry the Olympic Torch for a moment. But, of course, it wouldn’t be right if Snoop didn’t infuse his personality with the experience. According to the video footage, Uncle Snoop was seen carrying the torch with a smile and even started crip walking a few times. Speaking to NBC, Snoop said he “felt like Muhammad Ali” carrying the torch and the brief experience was “extraordinary.”

Before the ladies of the USA gymnastics team took the stage for their qualification round, Snoop had to let the women know that he was rooting for them from the stands. In a clip, Simone Biles is seen speaking to her teammate Jordan Chiles and pointing to someone in the audience. Jordan then searches for the person who Biles is apparently speaking about, when she immediately burst out in a dance break. Seconds later, the camera then pans over the the crowd, where Snoop is also showing off his dance moves. The heartfelt moment left Biles and Chiles with big smiles on their and prepared to dominate the floor.

Of course, Uncle Snoop had to check out the warmup sessions of each sport. While he was on break from being the hype man, Snoop was spending his time testing his endurance to see if he could pull of the rigorous moves and performances like the Olympic athletes. The rapper-turned-business guru visited every sport from fencing to weightlifting to track and field. But, seeing as though Snoop successfully completed these challenges, is it safe to say we can expect to see him making his mark in the sports world?

Outside of the Olympic fun, Snoop took some time to check out the beauty the city if Paris has to offer. At one point, Snoop visited the the Louvre, a national art museum, on a private tour and got educated on some of the pieces featured in the museum. While taking us on his journey, Snoop was able to see several masterpieces such as Leonardo da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa” and “The Winged Victory of Samothrace.”

The Olympic Games would not be complete unless Snoop was joined by his close friend, Martha Stewart. The two have been besties since 2008 and continue to show love for one another. Partnering with the Cookie Monster, Snoop found time to surprise Martha on her birthday. Despite the moment being for the cooking connoisseur, Snoop was also in awe by being in the presence of Cookie Monster and admits to being the character’s “biggest fan.”
