50 Cent Files For Bankruptcy

50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, filed chapter 11 bankruptcy Monday. Court documents filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Hartford, Connecticut show 50’s reported assets and debts each in the range of $10 million to $50 million.

This news comes just days after a judge ordered that he pay Rick Ross’ baby mama $6 million dollars for posting her sex tape online in 2009. Prior to that case, 50 Cent  was also ordered to pay Sleek headphone company $17 million for reneging on their deal and reportedly stealing their design and contacts to create his own SMS headphones. A judge froze 50’s accounts momentarily when he failed to pay up.

According to Forbes, 50 Cent had a net worth of $155 million as of 2015.
