50 Cent is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his critically acclaimed debut album with a tour he is calling his “Final Lap.”
The rapper and actor is paying homage to his breakout album, “Get Rich or Die Tryin“ with a multi-city global run. His iconic trek will kick off on July 21st in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the Maverik Center. From there, he’ll then move across the United States before making his way to Canada and then moving to Europe. On his U.S. leg of the tour, 50 is planning to hit all the major markets, including Brooklyn, Tampa, Atlanta, Houston, and several others. Once he makes his way across the water, the Grammy-award winner will headline in areas such as Paris, Berlin, and London. Additional dates will be added soon.
The Final Lap Tour is presented by Live Nation and Sire Spirits and will bring along several special guests. Also hitting the stage along with 50 are Busta Rhymes and Jeremih, though he’ll only assist on North American dates. In 50’s Instagram announcement, he confirmed that more special guests would be joining him on the road.
The “Power” creator will perform some of his biggest hit records, many of which he has not showcased live in years. Though an official set list has not been unveiled, attendees can likely expect to hear “In Da Club,” “21 Questions,” “Many Men,” Candy Shop,” and more fan favs. While 50 still performs, his last significant tour was 2010’s The Invitation Tour.
Tickets for the Final Lap Tour will go on sale starting Friday, May 12th.
