Kenya Barris and 50 Cent are teaming up to bring Fif’s book The 50th Law to Netflix.
According to Yahoo! Sports, 50 and Barris are developing a new series for the streaming giant. According to Deadline, it will be based on the rapper and media mogul’s best-selling book, The 50th Law.

Robert Greene and 50 co-wrote the book, and it includes excerpts from Malcolm X, James Baldwin, Napoleon, Sun Tzu, Socrates, and Abraham Lincoln. The idea came about for the collaboration after Barris’s colleague, Hale Rothstein, pitched it.
Rothstein and Barris will work alongside one another as executive produces of the series, and it will be produced by Barris’s Khalabo Ink Society production company. Fif will also act as an executive producer under his G-Unit Film & Television production house.
Barris is also cooking up an adult animated series with artist Kid Cudi. The series will be titled “Entergalactic.” Aside from this new Netflix project, 50 has solidified his spot in the film and television industry with successful shows, including “Power,” ABC’s “For Life,” and “Family Affair.”
