Rapper 50 Cent says that his forthcoming album may be his final musical work.
The “Many Men” performer shared what appears to be a promo clip to his Instagram, signifying new music. However, he also alarmed fans when he wrote that the album might be his last before walking away from the studio for good.
“Smile my next album might be my last,” he wrote in the caption.

New music from 50 has been long-awaited for years. His last full-length project was “The Kanan Tape” in 2015. In 2017, he unveiled a “Greatest Hits” album, which featured hit records such as “P.I.M.P.” “Best Friend,” and “Candy Shop.” Since then, he has teased new releases, though none have been released. His next expected album was to be “Street King Immortal,” which had been pushed back for years before 50 shelved the entire project ultimately.
Fifty also took a moment to let his followers and fellow rappers know that despite the lack of new tunes in recent years, he remains one of the GOATs.
“I’m Top 10 dead or alive and i’m not done,” he wrote.
Though the G-Unit founder may have taken some time away from music, his fans have grown to understand, considering the immense success that he has had with his “Power” series and its spinoffs on Starz. His widely popular BMF series wrapped weeks ago, and now the music and television genius is planning to create a series based around Snoop Dogg’s 90’s murder trial.
