50 Cent is planning to create a series based on the Nigerian internet scammer, Hushpuppi.
In June 2020, Ramon Abbas, also known as Hushpuppi, was arrested in Dubai for committing a series of international cyber scams and money laundering of millions of dollars, authorities said. That same year, Abbas was extradited to the US for a trial that was held on July 3rd.
Earlier this week, Abbas was sentenced to 11 years and two months behind bars after being found guilty of laundering funds from a school financing scam, business email compromise and other fraudulent cyber schemes.
Shortly after the news broke on Abass’ verdict, the television producer announced his plans for a television project about Abass.
“For my scammers I gotta do this one. Hushpuppi series coming soon! GLG, Green Light Gang I don’t miss. #Bransoncognac #lecheminduroi #gunitfilmandtv,” he wrote on Instagram.

The 40-year-old scammer had previously pleaded guilty to the charges brought against him during the trial.
Hushpuppi is a piece of #$%. Why make a film about him? I hope “Two Bits” doens’t play him as some kind of hero.
