50 Cent Slams Lionsgate After Talks Of Selling STARZ Network

Did anyone else notice that the latest episode of BMF aired and then was taken down? That may be due to Lionsgate being in talks about selling the STARZ network and this isn’t sitting too well with 50 Cent.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, executives at Lionsgate shared the news of their idea to sell the network. “On November 2, 2021, the Company’s Board of Directors authorized the Company’s management team to explore potential capital markets alternatives for its Media Networks business (STARZ) including, but not limited to, a full or partial spin-off, split-off, issuance of a tracking stock or other transactions.”

50 Cent, who happens to be the brains behind some of STARZ hit shows, was not feeling the news. The actor took to Instagram to express his opinions on the matter. “WTF is this, No Raising Kanan, No BMF, what do you think made their stock jump? I gave them two hits back to back Smh these people be crazy, smart as hell but no common sense.”

50’s issue didn’t end there. He then went on to mention in his comments that he’s going to buy the network.

Now we all know that when Fifty has a problem, he doesn’t stop letting us know. This time he might have a good reason for trolling the network as BMF’s new episode aired but was removed. Early Sunday, 50 Cent took to Instagram again to make one final comment and let us know that he’s taking a hiatus from the social media platform. “I’m out til next week Saturday 12am because the sh*t people are gonna say when they find out BMF is not coming on this week.”

And while fans were anticipating seeing their fav characters, 50’s excitement was for another reason. Turns out 50 was the director for episode 7. “Starz is a sh*t show, they better sell it fast. They put the f**king  BMF show on, then took it down. what network does sh*t like that? They just ruined the anticipation of The episode i directed, I WORKED HARD ON THIS. I can’t work with these people anymore.”
