After winning a $6.2 million lawsuit, 50 Cent threatened to seize the property of a former employee who stole from him.
In September 2021, Sire Spirits, owned by 50 Cent, filed a lawsuit against Mitchell Green, the former director of brand management, alleging that he had received $2.2 million in undisclosed kickbacks from 2018 to 2020. The following year, Green was found guilty of breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and unjust enrichment.
According to the suit, Green allegedly overcharged wholesalers and falsely labeled the extra amount as “agency fees,” but kept the excess funds for himself. As a result, he has been instructed to repay more than $6 million, which covers pre-judgment interest, legal expenses, arbitrator compensation, and additional charges. If he fails to pay, 50 Cent can claim his personal belongings and other properties.
Earlier this week, Green filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and 50 isn’t feeling any remorse for the situation. On Wednesday, the G-Unit mogul posted a screenshot of Green’s house to Instagram and stated he plans on taking ownership of the home to settle the debt.
“I think i’m gonna put Epoxy floors in this place,” he wrote. “I’m gonna keep it and his family pictures around, you know as a theme for the place. LOL.”

It’s unclear when Green will pay up but this isn’t the first time 50 has had issues with individuals not paying off their debt to him. In 2018, singer Teairra Mari sued 50 for revenge porn. However, the court sided with 50 and Mari was ordered to pay his $40,000 legal fees.
