50 Cent’s BMF Series Announces Its Release Date For Season 2 [Video]

50 Cent’s BMF series announces its official release date for the show’s 2nd season along with a star-studded trailer.

On Friday, STARZ released the trailer for season 2 of the popular series that follows the Flenory brothers, Big Meech and Southwest Tee. The upcoming season will give fans a further look into the brothers expanding their empire beyond Detroit with a goal of global domination.

The trailer hinted at new storylines while revisiting old ones with a few new guest stars.

Comedian Mo’Nique appears this season as Goldie after 50 promised her role in the series earlier this year. In addition, comedian Leslie Jones will make an appearance as Federal Agent Tracy Chambers. The trailer also showed Snoop Dogg will be reprising his role as Pastor Swift. However, the trailer did not show rapper Yung Miami, although fans already got a look at her character Deanna when she announced her role back in October.

BMF premiered in September 2021 and quickly became the number one show on STARZ network. The show’s gained so much success that the series was renewed for another season before the second episode aired.

“Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson continues to find and cultivate stories like BMF that are culturally relevant, bringing the network important untold stories that are incredibly diverse both in front of and behind the camera,” STARZ CEO Jeffrey Hirsch said. “Following such a strong debut, we’re excited to see what Curtis, Randy, and the award-worthy cast deliver in the second season.”

BMF is set to return to STARZ on Friday, January 6th.
