50 Cent’s Personal Bank Accounts Seized For Stealing Headphone Designs

Do you remember 50 Cent’s deal with Sleek Audio? Well, things went terribly wrong and 50 ended up in a deal with SMS Audio. Sleek took 50 Cent to court, alleging that he stole their design, contacts and headphone technology after their deal went bad, taking it over to SMS Audio. The courts ordered 50 to pay $17.2 million to Sleek Audio but unfortunately the Queens rapper neglected to do so and now his bank accounts have been seized.

A judge is allowing Sleek Audio to not only freeze 50 Cent’s personal bank accounts, but also garnish his wages until they are paid in full. Sources say 50’s business accounts are not effected. According to his lawyers, they are appealing the Sleek Audio judgment, and the company has been “desperately attempting” to hold money from any accounts it can locate.

To be fair, Sleek had a damn good case. These headphones are identical down to the logo.
