Rapper 6ix9ine is out on bond after he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Yailín la Más Viral, while in the Dominican Republic.
The Daily Mail reported that the rapper was released Thursday after posting a $507 bond. The judge presiding over the case reportedly found that the evidence presented by prosecutors was not enough to keep him behind bars, and because Yailín is not cooperating.
Yailín’s mother, Wanda Diaz, was reportedly the one who reported the abuse. Diaz did not attend the hearing to testify because she was allegedly ill from a cosmetic surgery complication, HipHopDX reported.
6ix9ine cannot leave DR without permission from a judge and is required to appear in Court every two months.
The rapper, who is formally known as Daniel Hernandez, was arrested on January 17 for allegedly inflicting “physical and psychological violence” on his girlfriend.
The two are known for their tumultuous relationship, with Yailín going to jail in December for felony assault after she was captured on video fighting 6ix9ine.
