8-Mile Actor Nashawn Breedlove Passes Away At 46

Nashawn Breedlove, who was known for his rapping skills and as Latto in the movie 2002 movie 8-Mile, has passed away at the age of 46.

A family member of Breedlove confirmed his passing to TMZ, saying he died in his sleep Sunday at his New Jersey home. His cause of death has not been released.

In the movie, which is based on the life of rapper Eminem, Latto—f/k/a Breedlove took on Em’s B-Rabbit in a rap battle. Although he lost, Latto had the crowd going wild during his freestyle.

Prior to jumping into his acting career, Breedlove went by the name OX on stage. He also had a feature on the soundtrack for the 2001 movie “The Wash” with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dog.

RIP.
