A Jesuit priest, reportedly close to Pope Francis, is accused of allegedly manipulating two nuns into having a “Holy Trinity” threesome.
A former nun is claiming that Marko Ivan Rupnik used “psycho-spiritual” to control her roughly three decades ago. The says Rupnik force her to watch pornography and participate in sexual sessions that he said had religious significance.
“Father Marko started slowly and sweetly getting inside my psychological and spiritual world. Exploiting my uncertainties and fragility and using my relationship with God to push me into sexual experiences with him,” the former nun said.
According to the former nun, Rupnik groomed her during her time at the Solvenian convent, between 1987 and 1994. She also says Rupnik had sex with her and bullied her into staying silent.
To make matters worse, the former nun adds that Rupnik asked her and another nun for a threesome. Rupnik allegedly told the two women that they would mimic the three-way relationship between God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
In addition, the former nun claims Rupnik abused over 20 women and she initially made a complaint in 1994. However, she was ignored by Rupnick’s followers.
The sexual allegations against Rupnik was found to be true. He was later excommunicated from The Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in May 2020. That same month, Rupnik was reinstated into the congregation. Nevertheless, the congregation declined to prosecute him despite nine women coming forward with similar allegations.
The congregation chose not to prosecute Rupnik because the cases fall out of the statute of limitations.
