A signed LeBron James rookie card, which also includes a piece of his game-worn Jersey, is being auctioned off and is in the millions.
According to TMZ Sports, the card is part of the 2003-2004 Upper Deck Exquisite collection, and it’s one of only 23 ever made!
Not only has the auction surpassed the $1 million mark, but according to experts, it has the potential to hit $2 million before it’s all said and done.
As for the quality of the card, Beckett graded it a “9.5,” and the autograph is graded a perfect “10,” which is why the card (which is rare) is such a high commodity, the outlet reports.
With bidding starting over two weeks ago at $150k, there have so far there have been over 22 bids placed for the card.
The card reaching $1 million in bids, makes LeBron’s card the most expensive card of all-time in the modern era, beating out a Mike Trout card sold at $900k.
Goldin Auctions also told TMZ that no other James nor #MichaelJordan piece has ever cracked the $1 million mark.
The auction closes on July 18.
