A TALK WITH MS. TAMMY TORRES….

If you are a veteran member of Baller Alert you know Tammy very well. She has a saying that was entered in our lexicon – “miami cred” – well she definitely is earning that cred. LOL

After all the controversy on Baller Alert – Tammy shut up her haters by being the leading lady in Lil Wayne’s hit single Ms. Officer. Since then she has been working hard toward her goals.

1. You are known for being the leading lady in Lil Wayne’s Ms. Officer video. How did you get casted for that? How was it working with Lil Wayne?

I had an amazing time working on that set. Wayne has been a long time friend of mine so working with him and the team is like family, I felt very comfortable. He had personally asked me if I’d be interested in the part, and I was more than happy to do so.

2. For the women who want to get in the business. What kind of money can you make? Is it lucrative?

Its really what you make of it. You have to start from the bottom and work your way to the top like in any business. I could say that I now am up to my expectations to what a model should get paid. But I wouldn’t consider it lucrative yet.

3. Do you have plans to break into acting?

Most definitely. I’m actually starring in my first film directed by Rob D. called “Do It In Post”. Its based out of Miami and I absolutely love my role. I think this gives my fans a different side of me that they haven’t seen and I can’t wait to show.

4. Have you had any surgery to complete your look?

No I haven’t, but I’m not against it.

5. What is your biggest accomplishment?

Well besides to have worked with people I admire. I would say to live the carefree life I’ve always wanted. Being that I can wake up every morning with no worries to a beautiful view for something I have worked so hard for. Makes you realize how grateful and proud one is for their efforts.

6. When you were first introduced to baller alert it wasn’t on good terms. Did you ever find out who the person was that was trying to slander your name? How do you deal with people like that?

Yeah I remember. Those where my beginning stages of breaking into this industry. Not fun! I don’t deal with it I ignore it. I now have come to understand that hate is another form of love for some. They just haven’t found a way to express it logically as “Wayne Carter” would say. I never found out who it was but in most cases you never will so may god bless them all.

7. Do you have any groupies? What is your craziest groupie story?

Haha! Groupies are everywhere, and you’ll be surprised in the places you’ll find them. My craziest experience was with a groupie who turned stalker!! Not fun!

8. It’s rumored that you have something going on with Rosa Acosta. Want to confirm or deny?

I have a lot going on with a lot of them, awkward that you would just ask me about her. LOL But I will confirm that I love her.

9. If you could work with anyone who would it be?

I would love to one day have the opportunity to do something with Heidi Klum.

10. Iphone or Blackberry?

I have both!! And still have trouble. But my main line is the BB11.

11. What is next for Tammy Torres?

My charity fund called TCapital of South FL. I’m really excited about how my last event turned out. My team and I have organized Benefit fashions shows for the charity which have been very successful. I stay pretty busy and update the internet everyday on my favorite sites!
