A$ap Bari, one of the founding members of the A$AP Mobb, is clapping back at his sexual assault accuser with a lawsuit.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Bari claims the woman only began saying he sexually assaulted her after she hired a lawyer. The incident occurred back in July 2017 at the London hotel. When two police showed up she told them that Bari didn’t harm her in any way but was concerned that a video of her naked would end up on the internet. However, she was relieved when police deleted the 10-second video. Bari claims the woman told police, “Seeing the video being deleted was like having a weight lifted” off her shoulders.
Bari says the video was taken while the woman was hooking up with his assistant and was recorded by a third party who also was in the room. The woman filed a lawsuit against Bari for $1 million. Now Bari is countersuing the accuser for defamation and civil extortion for allegedly pressuring him into settling.
The U.K. is still pursuing the case.
