A$AP Rocky Confirms Baby No. 3 Will Keep the ‘R’ Name Tradition Going [Video]

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna are gearing up to welcome baby number three and yes, the name will definitely stick to their signature “R” theme.

The rapper recently stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers, where the host couldn’t help but bring up the couple’s naming pattern.

“Your first two kids have ‘R’ names, obviously you and Rihanna have ‘R’ names,” Meyers said. “Is this a lock that the third will have an ‘R’ name, do you think?” Without hesitation, Rocky replied, “For sure,” making it clear that baby number three will carry on the “R” legacy.

Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, and Rihanna are already parents to RZA, who turns 3 next week, and Riot, who just turned 1 last fall.

The bump reveal came just days ago when Rihanna stunned fans at the 2025 Met Gala, confirming what fans had been speculating for weeks.

This isn’t the first time Rocky has talked baby names. After he was found not guilty in a 2021 shooting case, he joked with his lawyer, Joe Tacopina, that he’d name his next child A$AP Joe.

No word yet on whether that promise will make the final cut, but it looks like the “R” rule is officially set in stone.
