A$AP Rocky’s Assault Case Lawyer Apparently Ambushed; Shot In The Head & Chest In Stockholm

Henrik Olssen Lilja, a Swedish lawyer who first represented rapper A$AP Rocky during his assault case, was shot in the Stockholm, Sweden, and it appears to have been an ambush.

The incident took place Friday morning at an apartment complex, where Lilja apparently lives. Forbes reports that Lilja was shot in the head and chest by an unknown male suspect before calling the police himself.

Reports say the Lilja was leaving his apartment building Friday, where the gunman appeared to have been waiting for him. Witnesses say that they saw a person attack the lawyer and wrestle him to the ground in a stairwell, where he was then shot at least two times.

The suspect then jumped into a black SUV waiting outside, and it took off.

Officials arrived on scene and rushed Lilja to the hospital.  Although he was conscious when he called the police, the status of his current condition is unknown.

Swedish police released a statement saying that they are treating this as an isolated incident and that “several people” have been arrested for questioning.

A woman, who’s also a senior lawyer, was brought in for questioning after being previously banned from contacting Lilja. It’s not clear why she was banned and if there’s any connection, as the shooter was said to be a male.

As you may recall, Lilja first represented ASAP Rocky, who was convicted of assault in the Swedish capital following a street brawl back in June. Lilja was replaced by another legal team before the trial started.
