Aaron Carter is opening up about his personal relationship with Michael Jackson on the new season of “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition.”
In a promo clip from the WE tv series, Carter vaguely claims the late pop icon did one thing that was “a little bit inappropriate.”
“Michael was a really good guy, as far as I know, really good guy,” the singer said. “He never really, like, he never did anything that was inappropriate except for one time. There was one thing that he did that was a little bit inappropriate.”
According to Entertainment Tonight, Carter’s time on Marriage Boot Camp with his mother, Jane Carter, allows him to work through his complex relationships with both his family and Jackson’s.
Carter developed a bond with Jackson during his rise to fame in the early 2000s. Apparently, Carter was only 14 when the two met and the “King of Pop” asked him to feature on “What More Can I Give,” a song released for charity.
The details of the “inappropriate” incident have yet to be revealed, but Carter took to Twitter on Monday to thank everyone who has had his back and surprisingly support Jackson amidst the speculation.
“Everyone having my back I appreciate you,” Carter wrote. “My reasoning for even speaking on this subject is to tell my truth, be real and to also have his back based on my experiences with Michael. He was an amazing guy; I stand by that. So I ask u not to turn this into something it isn’t,” he added.
Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition is set to premiere later this year on WE tv.
