Former child star Aaron Carter was ready for a fresh start before his sudden unexpected death. Last month he listed his home for sale to embark on a ‘new chapter.’
On Oct. 29, just after cutting the price of the home, the pop star shared a screenshot of his seven-bedroom home’s listing on his Twitter account.
“Selling my 2nd home. Real estate has been super good to me. Ready for a new chapter in my 3rd home which I plan on staying to make a beautiful life for my family,” wrote Carter, who shares 11-month-old son Prince with his ex-fiancée Melanie Martin.
“This year has been super tough but I’ve learned so much. Thanks for the support everyone.”
The home was initially listed for $829,900 in September. But Cater reduced it by $30,000 several days before his death, PEOPLE reported.
Carter was found dead Saturday around 11 a.m. He was 34 years old.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed a body was discovered but police did not officially identify the victim.
