I will avoid calling Aaron Hernandez a psycho killer because I don’t want him to track down my IP address, murder me and dump my body. What I WILL say about Hernandez is that he is getting closer to seeing his day in court.Â
Yesterday a probable cause hearing was held where prosecutors were to 1) prove that a crime has been committed, and 2) establish that Hernandez committed the crime. Hernandez is accused of killing 27-year-old friend and semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd.
Odin’s parents were present in court. His mother in tears as Hernandez turned to them and said “I love you.”
Prosecution requested a continuance, asking for more time to present evidence to a grand jury. Aaron’s lawyer objected, asking for the case to be dismissed because prosecutors were dragging their feet, but the judge sided with the prosecution. Aaron is due back in court for another probable cause hearing on August 22.
