Although he dodged jail time after shooting his friend in the face, Aaron Hernandez has been having the worst week ever. ESPN has reported that New England Patriots Tight End has been arrested. Not just that, Hernandez has also been released by the Patriots! It doesn’t seem like it’s getting any better for him.
Hernandez, 23 years old, was placed in handcuffs in put into a police cruiser at 9 am Wednesday morning. As you already know Hernandez’s home has been searched by police numerous times this past week due to the killing of his friend, 27 year old Odin Lloyd, who was murdered not too far from Hernandez’s home.
During his arraignment prosecutors built up a significant case against the former NFL player. During the hearing, prosecutors say they can prove Hernandez stopped at a gas station hours before the murder and purchased gas, cigarettes and a pack of blue cotton candy flavored Bubblicious bubble gum. A chewed piece of that same gum was found on the crime scene.
Aaron Hernandez was charged with Murder, 5 gun-related charges, and he pleads not guilty. Let’s see how this one turns out.
