Ace Hood received one of the most thoughtful gifts anyone could receive from their significant other. The Florida rapper was gifted with a custom plaque to celebrate his success as an independent artist.
On Christmas Day, Ace Hood’s wife, Shelah Marie, gifted her husband with custom commemorative plaques, which she documented on Instagram, and his reaction was priceless.
Shelah Marie captioned the video by expressing how proud she is of her husband and how talented he is “not to have his flowers while he can smell them.”
“When @acehood was last on a major recording label they were excellent about celebrating wins. Ace has so many plaques in the house from that era. Since Ace went independent, he hasn’t received any plaques for his projects. Ace is too damn talented not to have his flowers while he can smell them. I got plaques made for his first two releases (Trust The Process 1 & 2) since going independent because in this house we don’t wait on the validation we want — we give it ourselves. I love you @acehood.”
The plaques were custom made to showcase the rapper’s success since going independent. The plaques documents the millions of streams for his first two releases, Trust The Process 1 & 2, which combined is over 178 million streams.
The gift was not only special to the rapper, but it shows that his wife is his biggest cheerleader. Now, that is what we call love! This was such a special Christmas gift, and a lot of thought was put into it.
