Actress Selma Blair, who most recently played the role of Kris Kardashian on The People vs. OJ Simpson, had to be carried off the plane on a stretcher shortly after landing at LAX airport on Monday afternoon. The 43-year-old ‘Cruel Intentions’ and ‘Legally Blonde’ star was on her way back from a family vacation in Cancun, Mexico when she had a strange and disturbing outburst on the plane. During the middle of her flight, she started crying and talking about a man who she did not specifically identify. Passengers heard her saying, “”He burns my private parts. He won’t let me eat or drink. He beats me. He’s going to kill me.”
Nurses on the flight came to her aid and when they checked her bags, they discovered that she had mixed some type of medication with the wine that she was drinking. The pilot called the paramedics from the plane and when the flight landed, they were there waiting at the airport to take Blair to the hospital.
Prior to her flight back to Los Angeles, Blair had spent Father’s Day weekend in Cancun with her ex-boyfriend Jason Bleick and their 4-year-old son Arthur Saint. According to eyewitnesses, the three of them looked like they were having a great time on their vacation.
So far, no further details have been released about what specifically caused Blair’s outburst on the plane.
