Skai Jackson, the former Disney Channel star, is officially a mommy.
The 21-year-old actress shared the exciting news on Sunday, revealing that she has welcomed her baby named Kasai. In a heartfelt post, Jackson gave fans a glimpse of her newborn’s tiny hands, matching perfectly with hers in a sweet set of onesies.
It seems the actress gave birth fairly recently, as just before sharing the touching images, she posted a GRWM video, showing what she was packing for her hospital trip.
Jackson first announced her pregnancy in November. Unfortunately, things with her boyfriend, Deondre Burgin, an aspiring rapper, seemed rocky at that time. Since then, the couple has remained a fixture in the media, mostly due to controversy surrounding Burgin’s personal life. He has been seen on video being arrested and has faced accusations of having multiple children. Additionally, he was criticized by Jackson’s fans for making negative remarks about her on social media.
Despite the drama, the couple has managed to maintain a relatively low profile in recent weeks leading up to Jackson’s labor. Thankfully, it appears that the performer had a healthy pregnancy and a safe birth.
