Someone is trying to get Maroon 5’s Adam Levine thrown in jail, but luckily authorities are on the case.
Last Wednesday, an anonymous tipster contacted LAPD’s Juvenile Division and claimed that Levine hit his one-month-old daughter in the face and struck his wife, Behati Prinsloo, so hard he knocked her to the ground. Of course, police showed up to the Levine residence to investigate, but when they got there, they couldn’t find evidence of any child or spousal abuse.
Cops spoke to Levine’s wife and examined her and their daughter. No injuries were found after meeting with the family so it was determined the claims were unfounded and LAPD closed the case.
A rep for The Voice host tells TMZ that it’s unfair that being in the public eye means you sometimes fall victim to false, atrocious allegations.
