Adam Sandler responded to the viral TikTok video of him leaving an IHOP in the most fitting and funny way.
“For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn’t apply to the milkshakes,” Sandler wrote on Twitter Monday.

Last week, hostess Dayanna Rodas didn’t recognize the 54-year-old actor and told him it would be a half-hour wait at the Manhasset International House of Pancakes. Sandler, who was with one of his daughters, didn’t want to wait that long for a table and left the restaurant.
A customer recognized Sandler, who was casually dressed with a face mask on, while the “Uncut Gems” actor was lingering outside the IHOP. It wasn’t until the customer came inside saying that “Adam Sandler was outside” that Rodas realized her mistake.
When the 17-year-old hostess realized she turned the star away, she made the TikTok video, which she captioned “Pleaseee come back.” The video has been viewed more than 11 million times.
