Adele seemingly confirmed her marriage to Rich Paul during comedian Alan Carr’s show in Los Angeles this past weekend.
According to celebrity gossip Instagram account Deuxmoi, two attendees at the comedy show were able to recount the news.
“I was at Alan Carr’s comedy show in LA tonight, and Adele was in the audience,” wrote one fan. “Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently and Adele shouted, ‘I did.’”
“When he asked if anyone got married recently she yelled ‘I did.’ Super cute all around and was super sweet but dipped right before it ended,” another fan stated.
“Adele was sitting right behind me with a friend having the best time. Her security only came in to bring her snacks,” they continued.
“She didn’t care if people knew she was there. She was heckling him — they’re best friends.”
A Twitter user corroborated the reports of Adele revealing her marriage to Rich Paul at the comedy gig through an account from his girlfriend, who was present at the event.
“She was at a comedy show in LA and he asked if anyone got married recently and she said ‘I did,'” the user wrote.
Recently, the 16-time Grammy winner has referred to herself as Paul’s “wife” on multiple occasions.
In September, she told a female audience member at her Las Vegas residency, “You can’t marry me. I’m straight, my love, and my husband’s here tonight.”
The fan responded, “Can you try?” the singer hilariously replied, “No, I don’t want to try. I’m with Rich. You’re crazy, leave me alone.”
Adele and Rich Paul confirmed their relationship in July 2021 after being spotted together at an NBA game.
A few months later, she called him “incredible” and “openhearted” during an interview with Rolling Stone. Stating that their relationship was the “easiest” she’s ever experienced.
In 2022, the singer was spotted wearing a pear-shaped diamond ring.
