Adidas Is Partnering With Run-DMC To Celebrate 50th Anniversary For The ‘Superstar’ Collection

Run-DMC is furthering their long-lasting relationship with Adidas with an upcoming collaboration.

The partnership originally began in 1986 when the group released their hit single, “My Adidas.”

That record became the start of something new as the partnership went on to release different special edition sneakers throughout the years.

Now the hip-hop group and clothing brand will return to release a group of shoes to celebrate the ‘Superstar’ collection’s 50th anniversary.

The upcoming Superstar 50 collection will be released in three different colorways, according to reports.

Sole Collector reveals that the collection may also consist of friends and family exclusives, amongst other perks.

The three-pair set of shoes are set to be released in April, with each pair priced at $150.
